Dr. Prutha Satpute
Greetings and Salutations!
I'm Prutha Satpute, your creative Occupational Therapist (OTR). I am a doctoral resident at USC Chan Division of OSOT. I work with the office of Global Initiatives to form meaningful relationships with OT educators, students and friends all over the globe!
My core areas of interest are NICU therapy, early intervention care for families and infant mental health.
My side hustles include marrying art with occupational sciences. I do this through my podcast- Pru's peas, and my ceramic company- Terrapeace.
I'm Dr. Sakshi Tickoo (she/her), the extra sanskari, shameless, queer Occupational Therapist (BOTh) and Counselor specializing in the areas of sexuality and mental health. I'm also the founder of Sex, Love, And OT where I serve people from around the globe.
I'm also the founder of The OT Shop- first Occupational Therapy merchandise focusing on sexuality and mental health.
I'm a human raccoon who loves food, art, dance, books, dramas and memes a little too much. And furry animals, but that's a given, right?
Namaste everyone! I am Varada Pisharody, MsOT, OTR/L, your Meraki Occupational Therapist. I completed my Bachelor’s in OT (BoTh) from Mumbai, India followed by post-professional Ms. OT from Tufts University. I am also certified in music therapy and upper extremity and hand rehabilitation.
At present, I'm an Occupational Therapy practitioner at an inpatient rehabilitation facility and acute care setting at St. Catherine Hospital in KS, the sunflower state! I work with the adult and geriatric population presenting with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.
I am a travel and music enthusiast and I aspire to integrate my love for travel and diverse cultural experiences in my OT practice.
We are three accidental OTs who were brought together by the universe, but the decision to stick with each other and grow as people and professionals was a choice we made and continue to make. Horn OT Please is our collective creative and nerdy baby to the world to serve as a resource and be one that we didn't have learning in an Indian culture.
